There are 2 clubs inside the property, one of them with a themed pirate pool that kids will love is just walking distance from the house. The house was generally clean, but I noticed footprints on the floor and large flies on the walls. The pool didn’t seem very clean, so we couldn’t use it.
The kitchen lacked essentials, and the pans were heavily scratched and unusable. We had to buy new cookware, including a cutting board. Most towels were stained, requiring an extra wash.
Airbnb refunded the cleaning fee after I shared photos, which I appreciate.
The location is quiet, next to a lovely green area, and close to many places (15-20 min by car). The house has a nice design, good WiFi, and the host responded quickly.
However, despite sharing photos of the issues, the host immediately declined my refund request.
Overall, our stay was average. The price-to-performance ratio wasn’t great due to cleanliness and kitchen deficiencies. Host was excellent, house was excellent location was excellent. This place was exactly what we were looking for and we will stay here again in the future. We booked 2 weeks at Storey Lake but unfortunately we missed out on being there for 5 days due to being stuck in Nashville because of the hurricane! The house was perfect for what we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool outside was lovely and perfect for cooling off after long days in the parks. Affordable luxury
This property matched the listing perfectly and was just as expected. The unit was clean, spacious, and quiet! The community pool was fun and not too crowded. The beds were comfortable and kids’ bedrooms were so cutely decorated. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked! It was in a great location for our trip to the Orlando area! Thank you!
