The good-The villa was lovely, it was clean and as described although could do with a coat of paint. It had all the essentials. The pool area is quite small but was nice and the children really enjoyed it. Maria at MVP was very responsive and tried to resolve our issues.
The not so good-The WiFi was down for most of our stay which was annoying as we couldn’t watch Netflix or book anything online. The villa is only 23 miles from Universal but took us up to 2 hours some evenings due to traffic, which was tough after a long day in the park. Disney took us about 40 mins.
The location is gated but not secure, vehicles would often drive very close behind us to get through, or even speed off in front of us as we scanned our pass, anyone can get in and there’s no security controlling it.
We were often disturbed by parties at other villas who were in their pools until 2am. The police were often involved, and deployed several helicopters. Would I stay with my family again, unfortunately not. This home was beautiful and clean! It was stocked with towels in the bathrooms, and there were plenty of pots and pans, silverware, glasses, cups, etc. available to use. It's not too far of a drive to Disney World (depending upon the traffic). The grandkids loved the kid themed bedrooms, playrooms, the pool at the home and the community water park nearby. We did have an issue with the internet and the heating of the pool, but the host was on top of helping fix those issues. One tip for future renters, the ePass to enter the community is given to you through an email. It says on the ePass to place the QR code flat against the scanner. We discovered you need to face the QR code up under the scanner for it to work. Overall, our family had a wonderful time in this home. The Airbnb was amazing. It was so much for the children to do inside the home and also on the resort they were so well-behaved because they was entertained . the whole entire time. This has absolutely been one of the best airbnb that I’ve ever stayed in This was our second time staying in this home. We absolutely love that there is so much inside the home for the kids to really enjoy every moment. The house is very beautiful. The only downside for us is that even after paying for pool heating the jacuzzi doesn’t get high enough temperature for it to be a real jacuzzi. It remains the same temperature as the pool. But with colder temperatures the heated pool was very nice and allowed us to still be able to utilize and enjoy that amenity in the home. We love that there are two master suites one downstairs and one upstairs. Traveling with our parents and our kids the home offered everyone the perfect room accommodations.
