- 2026-06-10T16:25:41.000Z · 4.0/5: Upon arrival we were there just a few minutes early. Cleaning person was still there. We sat outside and waited, person left shortly after check in time. After getting into the property we started unloading person items and found pieces of broken glass on the tile flooring and rug in the living room. We went looking for a vacuum and broom and the first vacuum I found was broken. The second one didn’t have great suction to it and was more so just blowing things around. After getting in we went to pick out rooms and found the vent in the upstairs living room on the ceiling was disgustingly dirty as well, with finger marks where you can see someone touched it but didn’t clean it. While looking under the couch in the downstairs for toys the kids lost I also found the back of the remote that had been missing when we arrived, as well as popcorn and dried out grapes. Oh, and the half full vile of insulin under the couch as well. While showing I also noticed mold starting to grow in the tile grout on the wall next to me. Clearly not cleaned in a while. Honestly everything was great with the house and the host when communicating, but the cleaning was less than great. Personally I would check on whomever cleans the property if I was the owners, because it’s not being cleaned very well. If you’re paying them what I was charged for the cleaning fee, you’re not getting your moneys worth and the property is not being taken great care of for you either.Overall would give an 8/10!
