Cozy Getaways Review
Property was exactly like pictured. It was surface clean, but really needed a deep clean (cupboards, under bed, windows, walls, door frames, grout in tiles). We had to contact the host about small ants in the kitchen area. They were all over the counter. The dishwasher broke twice and was reset once, but on the last day wouldn’t work at all. The arm on the couch was clearly damaged and the furniture could have been updated. It was not comfy and a lot of the pieces had chips, marks and were just worn out. The pool was great, as we paid for it to be heated, but there were no loungers or chairs for around the pool. We requested them and were given two lovely loungers. The table and chairs next to the patio doors outside were extremely uncomfortable and very old. This could have been updated. The day the pool was cleaned, the heater was turned off and it took over a day for the heat to come back. The utensils, dishes, glassware and cutlery were old and some pieces were missing/broken. They seemed to lack many utensils that you would typically need. No kettle to boil water for tea/coffee, no large bowls for food, limited utensils for cooking. There was also a pot light above the shower in the primary room on the top floor that was hanging from the ceiling. The outside of the property was beautiful and well maintained. Overall it was a nice stay, but a deep clean, pest control, some updated pieces of furniture both inside and outside would have been beneficial and was well needed! This place was an okay stay for my family and i it was clean as well, we did have issues with the AC when we initially got there but it was fixed we also had issues with the wifi it would go in and out a lot. Also had issues with several tv’s in the house the living room tv was giving us a lot of problems but we managed to fix it out ourselves. the picture matched up to the house mostly there was some things that didn’t look the same but overall it was an okay stay and the host was helpful and would respond in a timely matter ! D
