Great stay! PROS: The home is directly across from the main pool and about a 10 min walk to the lazy river and other amenities. It was a 15-20 minute drive to Seaworld which was perfect. Restaurants, grocery stores and outlet malls were 5 minutes away so no need to travel too far for anything. There is also a 24 hour BK and gas station right outside the front gate which was extremely convenient for our late nights! CONS: Although the home was beautiful, there was a HORRIBLE stench similar to the smell of mold that was almost unbearable and made relaxing in the common areas a little unpleasant even with the air fresheners we bought. The patio was also pretty gross when we arrived from the ducks and bugs (both make frequent appearances just fyi) but I alerted the host and it was cleaned/pressure washed the next morning. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the host was very responsive regarding our concerns.

On check in home was a little difficult to find. However host was very responsive and helpful. My flight got in late so check in was late at night but they were very glad to help and ensured I was checked in without issues! They even checked in the following days to make sure I had what I needed and there were not any issues! Very helpful!

Overall, this was a good stay. The home had nice decor and amenities, and the area was very peaceful. The pool was amazing and definitely a highlight of the trip. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The water in the home had a bad smell, and we found bugs/worms in the kitchen and bathrooms, which was concerning. The bathrooms and bed linens had some stains and could also use some updates With a few improvements, this could be a really great place to stay.

Best spot at Storey Lake Resort. It is right near the entrance, within walking distance to the quiet pool for anyone who stays behind without a rental car, love the decor, host answered questions very very quickly when I emailed them. Would definitely stay there again over any of the other places at story Lake that I’ve stayed. Love the clubhouse lazy river and heated pool. 10/10 for sure
