Host obviously put a bandaid on the problem but after one night, out of our 2 night stay, AC was no longer working. I had 10 guests 7 of which were children and we had no AC until checkout. It was 90 degrees outside and 82 inside the townhome. The host said there was nothing she can do, that I would have to wait. The night was unbearable and no one slept. The next day events had to be canceled due to the children’s inability to function after the horrible night. This was a birthday party that was ruined. Couldn’t open the top floor window because the screen was broken and we had small children. The host was not empathetic to say the least and tried to con me out of a reasonable refund. Thankfully, Airbnb stepped in and took care of it. Shame on the host!"
